We at Collins Artworks are totally and fundamentally committed to operating according to the following basic principles in everything that we do.
We say what we mean and mean what we say. If we make a promise, we will do everything in our power to keep it. We will never lie or twist the truth to serve our own ends. We aim to be trusted and know that this can only be accomplished by being totally trustworthy.
We will never lie to a customer, supplier or business partner. We will never knowingly exaggerate or manipulate the truth to deceive or mislead for any reason.
We treat all our customers with the utmost respect and consideration. We believe that the best way to do this is to provide our customers with the exact product or service that they want and can afford. We will never pressure or manipulate our customers. Though we are in business to make a profit, we will never relate to our customers from that perspective. Our only thought will be to give our customers the best possible product for their particular situation and budget. We believe that by doing this, our customers will be more likely to be happy about their experience here, will come to us again for additional business, and will recommend us to others.
We are committed to operate our business in a way that never compromises our personal moral code. Just as we will not lie to or manipulate our customers, we will not allow ourselves to be manipulated or coerced into acting in any way that we find unethical. We will not knowingly invest in or promote any institution, product, service or cause that conflicts with or undermines our principles and the operating values stated here.
We are committed to uncompromising quality and workmanship in every product we sell and service we provide. We will not cut corners, even on the hidden parts of the products we create. And we stand behind our commitment to excellence. If you buy a product from us that ever fails because of a mistake made by us or faulty workmanship on our part, we will do what it takes to repair or replace it, free of charge.
We are committed to the community in which we operate and we will do what we can to support the needs of our community and to promote other local businesses. As our business grows, we will remain committed to our local community and will increase our support in direct proportion to our ability to do so.
We began with a vision to provide support and exposure to our local artists and that vision has only grown with time. We are committed to providing exhibition space, educational opportunities, networking, promotion, art-related products, and personal support to our local artists.
We operate in direct proportion to our tangible resources. We will never borrow money to buy supplies or services or to pay our bills. If we cannot afford it, we will not buy it, no matter what that means. Though we do everything we can to promote our business and to see our business grow, we are committed to growth that’s honest and true to the actual money we bring in through sales and service. This means that our monthly expenses and other overhead is as low as possible, allowing us to offer lower prices for what we sell while remaining profitable.
As artists and lovers of art, we see ourselves as being in the business of creating and promoting the spread of beauty. Through the artwork we offer, through the prints we create, through the commissioned pieces we paint, in our local exhibitions, and even in our art classes, we offer products and services that create and promote the beautiful.
We are fully committed to offering every child enrolled in our art classes a safe, inclusive, fun environment to experience the joy of creativity. We believe that kids need creative activities as part of a well rounded education, to develop independent thinking, to build self-esteem and to discover who they are as people. Our kids art classes are designed to serve these objectives. Our kids are our future, they need positive, constructive, creative activities in their lives more than ever. This is the purpose behind every class we offer.
