Seaweed, oil pastel, 30” x 22” “My wife isolated on the shore of Maine amid seaweed. She was content to be away from crowds to think and listen to the water gently caressing the shore. She has since passed away from cancer. This picture reminds me of how emotionally isolated one must feel when confronted with the reality of dying.”
